MEET OUR TEAM
Brittany
Brittany launched with Joy’s Space in December 2020 and has volunteered with Living in Liberty’s Outreach team since 2018. She is passionate about advocating justice and standing alongside women right where they’re at. When she is not working, you will find her hiking trails, trying a new recipe, or traveling abroad. Brittany believes in loving people into their purpose and potential.
Angela
Angela joined the Living in Liberty team about 7 years ago, prayer walking on the North Side of Pittsburgh. She continued in the fight against sex trafficking volunteering in a few of the drop in spaces. While continuing her education in social work, she plans to pursue this fight as a career by helping see women see their worth in Gods eyes. In her free time, Angela is a devoted wife, mother of 3 and grandmother of 2 wonderful children.
Allyssa
Allyssa has volunteered with Living in Liberty since fall 2019. She is passionate about people finding freedom through the truth and restorative work of Jesus. She is a chemical engineer by trade and also enjoys athletics, musical performance, painting, and reading a good book. She has a vision for seeing women restored to fulfill their created purpose through the grace and strength of God.
Cynthia
Cynthia has been a part of Joy’s Space since it’s beginning and served with Living in Liberty on street outreach and as a volunteer at its Thrift Store since 2012. Being involved with justice and mission ministries is important to her. She enjoys reading, knitting, collecting anything vintage and spending time in nature. Cindy’s heart is to come along side others with encouragement, hope and support.
Erica
Erica started with Joy’s Space in December 2020 and has volunteered with Living in Liberty’s Awareness and Prevention team since 2019. She loves Jesus and is passionate about showing His love to others. In her free time, Erica enjoys cooking, reading books, and spending time with others. She believes in walking alongside people as they discover the destiny that God has created them for.
Bonnie
Bonnie has been leading the street Outreach teams with living in liberty since 2013. Putting boots on cold feet or providing a warm meal brings great joy. She believes it is the glory of God for women to become all that He has created them to be. She enjoys reading in her spare time and walking the dog.
Melissa
Melissa launched with Joy’s Space in 2020 and has been a part of Living in Liberty since 2015. She is passionate about rehabilitation and job placement programs for ex-offenders. When she is not advocating the reformation of our criminal justice system, you can find her spending time with her children and dogs, jogging, exploring nature, or relaxing with a new book. She dreams of a world without stigmas.
Juli
Juli has volunteered with Living in Liberty’s Street Outreach team for about 6 years. She works in an administrative capacity by day and is active in Mission work at her church. She enjoys reading, gardening and yoga. Her calling is to support and encourage other women in order to help them reach God’s potential in each and every one of us.
